A cautionary tale -
General advice for static control - always look to mount your static bars over an area where the product is in 'free air' that way the charge can be taken out of the substrate and there are no coupling issues. For instance, if a roller is directly beneath the material and the static bar directly overhead, then the static charge couples with the roller object and cannot be neutralised. It is best to try not to have metal directly pointing to the static bar / ioniser either, as ion emission will be lost to earth. One final top tip is to keep your static bars CLEAN, as dust / dirty contaminants can lead to the bars working inefficiently. Please ask for our specially formulated cleaning kit, which includes a quick drying solvent especially created for ionising equipment.
